Her arms/branches have wire inside and are posable. She is about 2/3 the size of the original tree doll and made from muslin and felt. I inserted a dowel wrapped in batting into her neck so that she can stand nice and straight. My favorite part? Sewing on all those little leaves. I love that kind of thing.
Look who started rice cereal!
Stella -I wish you a long life of enjoying yummy food.
Next I’m working on a series of toys to be sold at Magpie in Davis Square, the store co-owned by Leah Kramer of craftster fame.

Your little girl is adorable! She is so tiny! It is so sweet that she likes rice cereals! I wish I still lived in Boston to come see your toys at the store in Somerville! I love the tree doll, very charming.
