Square Lion

I’m working a few new pieces in preparation for the Plush You show. This is a prototype for a square lion. There are a few areas that I need to work on, mainly new legs and feet and maybe a longer mane. He is made from corduroy, wool, white canvas, and a vintage floral cotton. The seams on his body are exposed and his tail is just the white canvas rolled up and tied to his backside. I’m thinking he might be better off with round paws that sit underneath his body. He is a cutie, though, so I think I’ll stick with it.

I made him a matching greeting card.
