This is what I’ve been busy with
and here is the egg head without his jaunty cap
This doll quickly became one of the more complex dolls I’ve made. I wanted him to have bloomers and to be able to sit with his legs bent. Gusseted button jointa seemed to be the best solution. Once his legs were done this way I needed to make arms with the same jointing system to match. He is quite prim and proper with his stand-up collar and bow tie.

What a distinuished looking egg. It cracks me up!
He’s great. I love the detail on the pants and sleeves
oh, VERY cute!!
i love his little suit and bow tie. what a proper little gentleman…
wonderful, just wonderful!
He’s fabulous! I love the fabric/color choices that you made. Cheers, Sarah
Your work is amazing. I love his outfit and the shaping of the egg is perfect. Can’t wait to see what storybook character you’ll make next.

🙂
Brilliant! Totally brilliant!
What an adorable Humpty Dumpty. I think maybe you need to open up a toy store of handmade toys, you would be brilliant at it. He is just so great. I wish your family a Happy New Year too.
Very beautiful egg-man! He seems to have quite a lot on his mind. Love him!
(back to lurking…)

He’s very elegant!
Bonne année et bonne continuation dans tes créations!
Just awesome, he looks like the best toy for a child. Love him!!
He’s so lovely, like a well-preserved old toy in a museum… perfect.
il est mignon avec sa tête d’oeuf ! Bonne année !!!
OMG! He is amazing! You are one talented girl.
Really stunning! It’s funny, I just had a conversation with someone who told me if I decide to have a child I’d have to give up my embroidery work. Glad to see that you can still work during nap time!
I want it desperately for my 21 month old who is in love with Humpty Dumpty. Where can I get it????
Is Humpty for sale?
I do in home child care and I care for a child who will be 2 in Feb. and is so infactuated w/Humpty Dumpty. Do you make these to sell?
