for Plush You III

September 7, 2007

Mosaic3240966

These three pieces are off to Plush You once I get to the post office today. The show opens October 12 and my work will be at Schmancy.

Last year I sent flapper dolls  – it is so interesting for me to think about how my work has changed a year hence. I’m proud and happy with both last year’s submission and this year’s, but they are certainly different.

I’m getting ready to do a little blog giveaway.  Check back here for some goodies in a little while.

I think the bull and cart is one of my favorite things you’ve ever made! The tilt of the head is just so expressive.

It was wonderfull to watch the transformation. While I loved your dolls they were toys and your new stiuff is so much more than that!

It’s been great watching your work change from softies into textile sculpture artwork. Although the flapper dolls were sweet, I really love the new stuff. 🙂

It’s wonderful to see how your work has grown and developed. Your Plush You! submissions for this year’s show are incredible!
