first day

September 11, 2006

Dscn0003_25

Today was Roxanne’s first day of nursery school. It was wonderful. The class met for one hour with the moms. She romped from activity to activity in a firefighter suit and hat – first playdough, then markers, then play kitchen, then sand table, then back to playdough. She peed in their potty and she cried when we left. Overall she made herself right at home.

Over the weekend I fixed up the penguin pattern and made these three dudes.

Sounds like Roxanne was quite at home, and had lots of fun. I love those little penguins too.

I love hearing about everyone’s first days back at school, glad to hear Roxanne’s went well. You’ve been much more productive than I have, those penguins are so adorable.

I love the way you just casually mention that you ran up 3 penguins over the weekend – they’re fabulous and you must be wonderwoman with a needle!
