Raccoon

I had a great deal of fun with this little guy and he came together on the first try (I love it when that happens).  And have you seen Violette Testacalda's amazing soft sculptures, (check our her raccoon)?  She paints on them so beautifully. Really creative and like nothing I've seen before.

Valentine’s Day Collection

A little collection of handmade birds, and perhaps a few other things, will be coming to my shop next Thursday, January 14.  I love the color red and I am having a lot of fun coming up with little, lovely red things to sew.

I shrunk my goat pattern to 60% and made it up in black and gold quilting cottons left over from my summer bumblebee.
