blonde doll

September 6, 2006

I was finally feeling ready to cut into the lovely tree fabric. I was thinking of a doll like this

Dscn0002_37

and came up with this

shoe details.

She’s alright. Not my most exciting project.

Oh, she’s lovely! I like how her feet are elongated and toes are pointed–it makes her look very elegant, I think. And the little birdie–I just love it.

she’s adorable! the only thing missing is her puffy sleeves – which i’m sure you’ll do next because let’s face it, puffy sleeves rock! – she’s simple and relaxed.i really like her. and let’s not go into the hair clip, that’s so yummy!

I find her just adorable as I see others do too.
If you wanted to try something more funky, why not give her a pair of tights for the autumn or winter season if you wanted to give her a warmer look for those seasons. Just a thought!

When I was first scrolling by the picture, I saw the drawing by her leg (looks a bit like a leg with a foot that curls up), and I thought she had long pigtails. How cute would that be?
I’m not sure if any of that made sense, I can draw a picture for you if that helps! 😉
