I made a new needle book for my trip. I have a bit of nervous energy and I felt like I couldn't bring my ratty old needle book from four years ago to Interweave. I needed to spend time making a new one, full of felt flowers! So here we go.
I'm about to leave for the post office to ship orders, and then to get a manicure. I'm just going to get my nails filed and buffed so they look pretty but there is no chance of messing them up.
And then tonight I'm packing. I shipped a giant box to Colorado late last week. Let's hope it has arrived by today. Just a few last minute supplies, some pre-sewn wings, and all of my patterns are left to pack with my clothes in my suitcase. And I'm making lunches, and dinners and doing everyone's laundry and scheduling playdates and babysitters so that I can leave and feel like things will roll onward here in my absence.
