This week the While She Naps podcast will reach 100 episodes! This is a fun milestone and I’m so grateful for all of the guest who have shared their stories on the show and for all of the listeners who have tuned in twice a month over these past three+ years.
The While She Naps podcast has grown tremendously since its humble start. The show has been downloaded 650,000 times! I really appreciate the messages I receive from listeners. Here are a few recent ones:
I found your podcast through another blogger (can’t remember who right now) and I have enjoyed them tremendously. You are an incredible interviewer. I have listened to other interview based sewing podcasts and they fumble in interviewing technique. You really listen to the person you are talking to and ask insightful follow up questions. My hubby, who is not the least bit interested in crafts and sewing, was totally into the interview I was hearing. He kept commenting on what a good interviewer you were (and still are!).
Abby Glassenberg is the consummate podcast host and interviewer. She meticulously researches her guests, asks well thought out questions and allows the guest to answer each question in their own way. Abby dialogs meaningfully with each guest by encouraging them to add additional thoughts and by adding her own comments where appropriate. I find myself looking up each guest after the interview and perusing their website even when the subject matter is not something I am particularly interested in. The sponsors of the podcast are also well curated. More often than not I look them up as well. This is my number one podcast. I NEVER miss an episode. -&LouGe052 on iTunes
As we head into the fall and winter of 2017 I have a full slate of really interesting guests booked for the show. Many have never been on a podcast and this will be their first opportunity to share their story in an audio format. All of them have made really significant contributions to the sewing and craft world.
I currently have seven sponsor spots left for 2017. I like to work with small companies including Etsy shops, publishing houses, fabric brands, and other businesses that are well-aligned with the podcast listenership. And I work hard to make sponsoring an episode of the podcast truly valuable and worthwhile for you.
Your sponsorship includes the following:
- 20 second pre roll
- 2-minute midroll which can be a mini interview with you
- 20 second post roll
- banner and blurb + links in the show notes (my blog gets about 3,000 pageviews per day)
- banner and blurb + links in my weekly email newsletter that goes out to 18,000 subscribers
Here’s what three recent sponsors said about the experience:
It’s been amazing to witness our community growth since partnering with Abby in December. She makes it so easy to set everything up, and it’s been a huge boost for our business as well as helped us make new connections in the crafting industry. –Spoonflower
Thank you so much for making it so easy to sponsor your show. Your editing of my rambling 2min Skype session was masterful. We have already seen a bump in our sales. We would definitely like to do another sponsorship. Great experience and great results. -Kay Lafranconi, Yount Street Glass
Thank you so much! We are getting so many orders I can hardly keep up! We will definitely be advertising with you again. -Jessica George, Sweetbriar Sisters
The Christmas shopping season will be upon us soon and that’s a great time to advertise your products and support the show at the same time.
Book an episode right here before they’re gone. Thank you!
