Fun Easter Project: Make a Chick and Egg Reversible Toy

March 8, 2013

Egg
Easter is just around the corner, March 31 to be exact, and somebody is getting ready to hatch!

Hatching
Hmmm…who could it be?

Almost hatched
Yes, I think I know!

Chick
A little chick!

This chick and egg reversible toy is one of my best selling patterns. It's easy to make (start to finish in a little over an hour, really) and kind of addictive to play with. The 6-year-old can't keep her hands off of this one.

I made this guy yesterday from some fleece scraps, but you could use cotton or felt, too. And I think he'd also be great as a bluebird. A perfect handmade addition to your Easter basket.

Get the pattern in my Etsy shop right here. Happy sewing!
