I’m excited to be teaching two classes in February here in Wellesley, Massachusetts. This is the third year that I’ve taught a series of business classes for artists and makers and it’s always a lot of fun. Most of the people who come live in town or nearby, but I’ve had a few people drive down from New Hampshire and Vermont to attend. The classes are free thanks to a generous grant from Wellesley Free Library Foundation.
On Monday, February 4, from 7-8:30 pm I’ll be teaching a class on Instagram marketing. Here’s the class description:
Instagram is a powerful visual tool to reach your target audience, gain recognition in your field, and grow your art business. You Instagram feed is like an ever changing porfolio and it has the power to connect you with your ideal customers so that you can sell more of your work. Learn how to build a concrete strategy to use Instagram for marketing your art buisness.
And the following week, on Monday, February 11, from 7-8:30 pm I’ll be teaching a class about Etsy.
Etsy is a quick, easy and inexpensive way for artists and makers to set up an online shop to vend their goods to customers all over the world. Getting seen takes effort and skill. Learn how to optimize your Etsy shop for maximum impact and acquire marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales to your shop.
Registration for both classes is required and space is limited. Register here or by calling 781-235-1610 x1105 or in person at the reference desk. If you’re planning to be in the area I’d love to meet you!

Thank you for your article. You explained things well.
I am in northern Canada, so cannot attend any classes.
However, I would like to be on you mailing list for more information.
Thank you.
