turtle – a second try

November 19, 2006

You didn’t think I was going to give up, did you?

Head_on

I rarely give up. I did Teach For America, after all. We don’t give up easily.

From_above

A new turtle with a few corrections. And a jaunty cap.

That’s the most precious turtle I’ve ever seen! I especially love the finishing of his shell (the ruffle?) – it’ll help keep his feet dry!

Very jaunty cap! i love his expression too, with the half-closed eyes. Are the legs hand-sewn to the bottom of his shell?

He’s adorable! I think the stumpier legs on the underside make a huge difference as does the patchwork shell, which helps to make it stand out more. And the little beret is the perfect touch. Shall we see 3 of these also πŸ™‚
