When I was pregnant with Roxanne, Charlie and I were on a 9 month quest to outfit her room according to the way we decorated the rest of our house – that is in a contemporary, mid-century modern style. Let me tell you, it was not an easy task. It seems that most companies that make furniture and accessories for nurseries think your baby would like to live in Victorian England or the French countryside. Anyway, we were able to piece together a rather mod nursery after much searching. Modernseed is a great site, as is Sparkability, among others. Modernseed is featuring these great felt slippers right now, for baby and for mom/dad (they are unisex).
Don’t they look so cozy and mod? I also like this rolly polly elephant mobile. It can be hard to find mod mobiles.
