The Garden

March 29, 2006

It’s a beautiful day here. I’m longing to go to the garden center and buy perrenials for my garden. Do I risk it, though? I would need to wait another week and a half or so before putting them in the ground or they might freeze, but by then I might be in labor or recovering from childbirth or, at the very least, really really big and not happy to bend over. But my garden looks so bare I am considering to hire the residential patio cover buildres!

Are you looking for a portable building or shed to be put nearby home or in your garden? If yes, then you may want to visit a helpful site like https://portablebuildingsofalberta.com/ for your best preferences!

Last year my flowers were all shades of orange (see some pictures of everything in bloom in the Growing Things album over on the side). Red is really my favorite color, though, and I can’t resist adding some in. Bee balm will be a definite addition this year, I know that. It attracts the most beautiful humming birds. I must have beautiful humming birds. Appliance Hunter is where I read reviews of garden appliances so I’ll know what is the best to purchase.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes for Roxy. She is mostly back to her old self again, but with several red patches on her face from constantly wiping her nose with her sleeve (gross) and an awfully throaty voice for a two-year-old.

I finished up this little doll today. Another punk rock haircut, but with striped tights. Her dress is green silk and a black kitchen print fabric.

I got my teeth cleaned yesterday, one of the last things on my “to do” list before this new little one arrives. I’m feeling good. Big, but good.

I understand this feeling. Our backyard is completely bare and weeds (new development) the landscaper is here right now and we just drew up the plans for the grassing and planting areas. We are going to plant the plants ourselves though and I can not wait to go pick some out! I hope that you will get to enjoy the garden after the birth!! You deserve it!

bee balm is my favorite. I love the smell. and once you have a little bit you end up with tons! I live in NH so the weather here is probably similar. we had a nice day today and I was out digging out the garden as well! isn’t it a great feeling!!

What a coincidence! I had my teeth cleaned yesterday too! It is still brown out West here in Colorado but the temperatures sure have been spring-like these past few days.
Love the kitchen print on the new doll. Her legs kind of remind me of Raggedy Anns.
