the penguin chick

March 28, 2011

DSC_0035
The penguin chick is done. I didn't make him fluffy, at least not yet.  My gray roving doesn't match my gray felt.  I think I like the unfluffly look anyway.

Roxanne wants you to know that this adult penguin is not the same species of penguin as this chick.  She can identify every species of penguin by its size and coloration.  She finds it unbelievable that I would be okay with this inconsistency.  Oh well. Hooray for penguins!

I like the unfluffy look, too. And you know, maybe he’s special; maybe he’s adopted.

Fun to see the penguin chick–three stages of life all in one photo. Thanks for posting!
