Last week both of my kids got strep throat.  It was a tough week.  They were so  tired and achy and sad.  They are both better now and back for one final week at camp. 

Charlie and I have been working at cleaning out the baby's room.  Our fourth bedroom was a home office for a long time, and then was just a guest room and dump for unwanted stuff that needed to be stowed somewhere.  After a month of sorting, filing, recycling and donating it is starting to look like a nursery. 

I have decided to sew what I want and see what happens. That is always the best plan for me.  Making what makes me happy produces the best work in the end. 

Today I finished a this swan. 

She seems very bridal to me.  My sister, Rachel, is getting married on September 5th. I think I have brides on my mind.
