one week left in the make-along!

July 6, 2009

One week remains in our make-along.  If you are considering entering, I encourage you to go for it. It was awesome to stretch a little and try something new.  Any kind of fiber art is welcome – knit, crochet, cross-stitch, embroidery, softie making, quilting – whatever you are interested in doing.  Some really lovely entries have been posted already and I have heard from many people who are still figuring out what to make.  Here is a little more inspiration for you.

1. Knitted bees, 2. clovers, 3. Four leaf clover, 4. bee knit hat, 5. lil' bee, 6. Handmade 'Bee my Valentine' Love Cuffs (Wrist warmers, Mini Gauntlets)

I will pack up the prize – a hefty bundle of vintage fabrics in all kinds of colors collected over many years – and get it ready to send out. And, I will draw a name from those who have posted an entry to our Flickr pool by next week Monday, July 13.  Yeah!

Hi Abby, I have already posted but live far far away so do not worry about entering me please – it would be silly. I am just excited about the inspiration. I have never seen a prairie ! All I had to go on was the TV series , Little House on the Prairie !!!
    Crazy wonderful fun
    thankyou.

Awesome, Jodie. What is your Flickr username? I’m not sure which one is you.
