Sewing and making collages are coming together now. How cool is that? Very cool, if you ask me. This piece was so calming to work on.
I love red, especially deep red. My deep red poppy is blooming right now in the garden. I put it in three years ago and this is the first year it has bloomed. It was worth waiting for.

Another beauty! I hope you get to exhibit these somewhere – they would look wonderful together 🙂
I love these nests of thread. What a nice depiction of nature as art. These are lovely and uplifting.

These are fantastic! I love the collage work tied in with the birds. I agree with the above comment, these would be great on exhibit.
Your birds are so beautiful and never cease to amaze me, I love that deep red you used too! Please keep up the good work, I always enjoy wondering which kind of bird you’ll make next 🙂
I really do love where your work is leading you!! It’s fantastic. You can really see the creativity.
I was just thinking of you as I read a book I have about paper mache. Ever think of making a box yourself? I should email you some of the images.

I haven’t checked in for a while and boy — the collages are FANTASTIC! Love them!!!
The red works really well. Keep ’em coming.
Your birds seem to have such expression on their faces!
I love deep red too. In fact, I just received the most gorgeous deep red wool in the post today. Can’t wait to pack the kids off to bed so I can break out the needles!
I LOVE the fact that you are combining soft sculptures and collage (collage and softies being my two favourite crafts as well!). It’s brilliant. Wonderful, wonderful work.
your work just rocks! I am amazed and envious! wonderful! wonderful!
