MH0509-COVER320X400

My sister-in-law's house is on the cover of Metropolitan Home this month.  Those little girls are my nieces, Jordan and Ellis, and on their heads are felt birthday crowns I made for them when they turned four!  How cool is that!

And Passover is officially over tonight. The pizza guy should be here any moment and we are salivating with eager anticipation.

I spent this week working on a project for Australian Homespun. And here is it:

Humpty Dumpty will be featured in the magazine at the end of this year, along with the pattern and sewing instructions so you can make your own little Humpty.  Of everything I've ever made, this doll is the most popular and most admired by my kids.  I'm so glad Homespun asked me to make him. It was a pleasure to dig out to he pattern and craft a new Humpty.  He is all cotton, stuffed with wool, with embroidered features, tab button joints.  Even his hat and shoes are Kona cotton. This was a really fun project. Early next year I will put the doll for sale in my shop.

Your sister’s home looks very stylish and how impressive to have your two cute nieces on the cover too. Congrats to you on having Humpty in the Homespun mag, I buy it every month with eager anticipation of what wonderful crafters are going to be inside. I cant wait to see your pattern!

How funny that I picked up that issue today, and read that story (loved the house). And tonight, after many weeks away, I happened back upon your blog and this (now old) post. 🙂
