Humpty Dumpty in the shop

January 24, 2010

Just a quick note to say that I have posted the two Humpty Dumpty dolls in my shop.  I made these two dolls last summer for Australian Homespun and had to wait to post them until now.  They traveled around the world together for their photo shoot, but are happily home now and I'm so glad to be able to finally list them.  I get more emails inquiring about my Humpty Dumpty doll than almost anything else.  I guess Humpty has a lot of fans.

    Dear Ms. Glassenberg:
How can I buy one of these Humpty Dumpty dolls all made up, not to make?
I have no interest in sewing/crafting, just in acquiring this doll.
There is a wall outside our condominium that matches the nursery rhyme, and it was not built to code, so I just want to put the doll up there and photograph it. Actually making the doll is more trouble than that is worth to me, especially since I don’t do that and don’t know how or care to learn.
Please tell me if you sell any more of these; the doll you show here is perfect.
    Thanks.
    Sincerely,
    Stephanie C. Fox, J.D.
