We spent a lovely afternoon today with a crafty blogger who has become a long distance friend, Amanda, and her son Max. Amanda and her family live in Arizona so we felt so lucky that they paid us a visit while on the east coast visiting family. Amanda is just as lovely as she seems on her blog – patient and low-key and silly and understanding – and Max is such a sweet guy. It really was nice to show Amanda my craft room and to sit out on the patio and talk about blogging and about being a mom with her. How nice it is when we get to meet one another in person.

On an entirely different note, I thought I should just say in case you weren’t aware that it is color week this week. I didn’t get my act together last time around, but I’d like to work some on my photography skills and I thought this might be a fun way to experiment more with my coolpix 4300 so hopefully you’ll see colors from me all week.
Oh lucky you! Amanda does seem like such a sweetheart, I’m so glad the two of you were able to get together 🙂
