flour sack owl

September 15, 2008

DSCN0011

A new owl today.  I made this one entirely from a cloth flour sack. She is stuffed with wool with a wire armature, as always.

Lots and lots of loops for feathers.

And an owly face.

We just may go in the sprinkler this afternoon. It is over 80 degrees here and we need to soak up the last bit of summer.

Your birds are so beautiful! I love that you re-purposed something as plain as a flour sack into a lovely creature!
