Coming next week…

May 9, 2014

I wanted to pop in quickly to show you two new things coming to my shop next week.

First is a brand new and totally fun supply…

Safety Eyes 1

Safety eyes 2

The most adorable safety eyes!

The eyes are the most important part of a toy and they can be kinda nervewracking to make from felt or embroidery because you've really got to get them right. These eyes add instant cute to any toy and are so easy! I'm incredibly excited about them. They're about 15mm in size. I have eight variations so they'll be sold in packs of 8 (you get one set of each type).

And I've got a new pattern in the works to use them on. These two are all sewn up and waiting for stuffing.

Dinosaur

The purple one is finished.

Here's the reaction she got from the kids after school today.

Kid approved!

I'm still working on a good first name for a friendly dinosaur. I welcome your suggestions! See you next week for the pattern and supply launch!

Those pictures are so sweet! What fun for your girls to come home to surprises like that! And your daughter in the first two photos looks just like you! How about Dina for a name? 🙂 Lisa
