green/blue bird

May 30, 2009

It is finally a sunny and beautiful spring day today.  We went for a nature walk at Broadmoor Sanctuary this morning and saw so many turtles and a beautiful hawk, too. I finished this little green bird last night.  She is up in my shop now.

Just in time for Spring. I finished this blue bird today and she is up in my shop now. Passover is approaching fast.  We are cleaning out the pantry and the fridge this weekend and then I need to start cooking.  I'm making my own gefilte fish again, with smoked and fresh salmon, plus the…

Gallery Show of Soft Sculpture Birds: Young Blood in Atlanta, GA

March 8, 2009

I’m back and it was an amazing experience.  David and I spent the day on Friday setting everything up and he was so incredibly generous with his time. He built half a dozen shelves from reclaimed wood to display my birds and his smaller paintings. And he brought with him an amazing collection of natural…
