A sweater bear I just finished. He is made from muslin instead of wool – I thought I’d try making one from a non-stretchy fabric. His body is made from a thrifted pillow case. He is being mailed off as a gift to my friend Robert’s new son, William. Robert and I dated my senior year in college and have remained friendly. He is a doctor now and a scientist and he and his wife, Gwyneth, just had their first child. I hope William likes this little bear.

He is a sweet little bear.
(And how you manage to create so much is beyond me — you must be Wonder Womann.)
I’m just mesmerized about your productivity after having a baby so recently. Your soft toys are so cute and inspiring. I’m just starting and enjoy reading blogs like yours everyday 🙂 I’m sure William will love this cute bear.
oh, hes gorgeous!!
Your sweater bears are beautiful… and very inspiring!
sweet sheepies, there.
also wanted to let you know there is a new post about the trim swap up at my weblog–check it out. 🙂
Oh he is SUCH a cutie pie! And yeah how are you managing to make so many things!?!?! My goodness! I hope I’m half as productive as you are when the princess arrives.
Ooh, I didn’t know you had little tags for your softies. Are they woven? What company do you use?I’d like to get some for my creations, but don’t really have the extra money to buy them 🙁 One day!
How cute..The print is the same as the flannel sheet sets my kids had when they were little.I still have the pillowcases:)
