Studio Update: Meet Pip the Pig

December 11, 2013

Pip the Pig

I've been working on a new little guy. His name is Pip. He's a super huggable piggie! Sometimes he wears a winter scarf for extra warmth.

Pip the Pig CollageI sewed him from velour, my new favorite material for making softies. It's just so cuddly. Still machine washable and durable, but with a smoother finish than fleece.

Stella and Pip

The pattern for Pip will be ready soon, although I think I may wait and release it as my first new pattern in 2014. I hope you like him!

*You might remember a very perfect pig I made last year. I sent it away to make room in my mind for new piggie ideas. It took a while, but it worked!

He’s got perfect pig feet – they look just like, well, pigs’ feet! And yes, he looks like the New Year Pig. Great design, Abby!
