Description
To make Stella the Owl and her Owlet you’ll need:
-a fat quarter of quilting cotton
-scrap quilting fabrics for her wings and feet
-a scrap of white quilting cotton for her eyes
-black embroidery floss
-5 ounces of polyfill stuffing
-scraps of felt in yellow and white for the beaks and the owlet’s eyes
-a 3/4″ square of velcro
-double-sided fusible web, 4″ x 8″ piece
-lightweight fusible interfacing, 15″ x 10″ piece
-coordinating thread
This sewing pattern is best suited for advanced beginners who already know how to sew a straight stitch on their sewing machines, how to baste, and how to do some simple hand stitching. If you’ve made a softie or two before, you’re ready for this pattern!
