Description
The finished rattle is 6 inches x 4 inches and is machine washable.
Step-by-step photos and clear written directions help you each step of the way. You’ll be able to make this sweet handmade baby gift with ease!
I sew these rattle with either fleece or cuddle fabrics like minky. You’ll need less than 1/4 yard per rattle and will have some scraps leftover.
I like polyester fiberfill stuffing for baby toys because it’s easy to find at fabric and craft stores, it’s inexpensive and easy to work with, and it’s machine washable.
To make these rattles you’ll need basic sewing supplies such as a needle, all-purpose thread, pins, and scissors. I recommend machine sewing toys for babies for strong, sturdy seams, but careful hand-sewing is also an option.
