We went apple picking on Sunday. It was the last day of the apple season at the orchard near our house.
The baby found this apple on the ground and gnawed on it the whole time and during the car ride home, periodically saying, "Apple!" and "Mmmm!".
The orchard was pretty picked over so finding an apple to pick was like a treasure hunt. Usually picking apples takes all of five minutes, but this time it took more like half an hour which was awesome because it was a beautiful day. We found a bird's nest in one of the trees. And I took lots and lots of pictures.
Tonight is Kol Nidre and tomorrow is Yom Kippur. Wishing you all a good year of forgiveness and renewal and lots and lots of crafting. Chag sameach.
