When I migrated my site from Typepad to WordPress a few random things were lost. One of them was the template for these felt daffodils. I’ve had it on my to-do list to redraw and upload the templates and this weekend I finally did it! While I was at it, of course, I made five new daffodils to decorate my home for spring.
With some felt scraps, floral wire, and floral tape (ask your local florist for those – mine gave me some for free!) you can create a whole bouquet of spring flowers that will never wilt. I hope you enjoy making them! Head over to the original post for step-by-step instructions and free downloadable templates. Happy sewing!
A tip for the future if this happens again: Thanks to the Internet Archive (https://archive.org/) and their Wayback Machine (https://archive.org/web/) nothing on the internet is ever lost. Your original blog post is archived at https://web.archive.org/web/20130908201049/http://whileshenaps.com/2011/04/free-springtime-craft-tutorial-make-felt-daffodils.html and the template is archived at https://web.archive.org/web/20130518005902/http://whileshenaps.typepad.com/files/daffodil-template.pdf.
Those are really cute, Abby! Thanks for reposting the template.
Perfect for the house with the cat that eats every single plant! Thank you!
Delightful! Thank you for sharing- these are beautiful.
These are adorable! I’d like to make them with a group of friends– do you have a printable view that I can print off so everyone can work from a copy?
