It’s Black Friday and time for my annual sale. Everything in my shop is 25% off today through Monday, November 26, and orders over $50 ship for free.
Now is the perfect time to stock up on essential doll and toy making supplies like safety eyes and noses, rattle inserts and squeakers, and hemostats.
This is also a great time to pick out some patterns for holiday making. If you have babies or young kids in your life, sew them a special doll or stuffed animal. Handmade toys become family heirlooms! My toy patterns are designed to stand the test of time. They are machine washable and very sturdy (I’m a mom of three kids so I get it!)
I’ve also got two kits in the shop. One is a pattern card of Harper the Owl which is a cute little softie/pincushion + all of the supplies to make him (you just add the stuffing). And the other is my Felt Menagerie kit that I designed for Quarto Publishing. This one comes with all of the materials to make two felt taxidermy heads, the fox and the peacock, plus a pattern booklet to make eight more designs.
This sale is an excellent opportunity to invest in your creative business as well. Choose an ebook on a topic you need to learn more about. If you don’t have the time to read it now, set it aside and dive in once January begins and you’re ready to set some goals for your business in the new year.
And finally, treat yourself to something fun with an enamel pin or patch. These also make great stocking stuffers or gift toppers. Just a little something extra!
