“I Think It’s Time”

August 22, 2007

"I Think It’s Time"
mixed media soft sculpture with working clock
mounted on wood block

I like how these two creatures are in conversation with one another.  It makes me wonder about what they’re thinking.

Saturday morning we are leaving for a week’s vacation to visit my family on the Eastern shore of Maryland.  I’m looking forward to diving into the waves, spending time with my sister and my brother and his family, and, of course, to eating Maryland crabs.

I really like the pieces that incorporate owls. Will you be putting this one up on your Etsy shop, hmm, perhaps? (And mad congrats to you for the write-up!)

Lol. It looks like they’re about to whip out their goggles and dive bomb someone.

as usual your work is wonderful:)
Love the owls – I think they look like brothers.
Hope you didn’t eat too much crab – my husband loves it and I can’t even look at crab meat without going ‘funny’

Lovely! I’ve been reading your blog for a few months and even went back and read through the archives. It has been a real thrill to watch you progress in your art over such a short period of time. I knew I had to comment today when I saw a small odd clock at an estate sale today and immediately thought of you and your work!

I’ve been without internet access for so long now, so it was such a thrill when I was finally able to catch up with your blog to see the great shots of your recent shows and works as well as the much deserved acclaim you’re getting. Your work has come so far since I started reading your blog. You must be so proud of where it has gone. Congratulations, and enjoy those Maryland crabs!
