This guy may look fearsome, but he's really a soft, huggable softie just perfect for all those little pirates in your life! He's got an open mouth full of felt teeth. In fact, his mouth is a soft pocket so you can reach your hand inside and the shark will gobble up your treasures!
My friend here thinks that's pretty cool. It was hard to wrestle Mr. Shark away from her after the photoshoot.
As you can see, this pattern creates a nice, big softie and it includes a few special techniques that might stretch your skills in a pretty cool way.
This pattern includes step-by-step photos, clear instructions, and full-sized templates to take you through from beginning to end.
You can find the shark pattern as an instant download in my Craftsy pattern shop.

You weren’t by any chance at the Boston aquarium recently?? Because my son wanted to buy a stuffed shark during our recent trip, and I distracted him by saying “I bet we could make one at home!” (with no real intention of doing so!) But now I feel I must since your pattern is so cute! I just bought it, and the Lovey Dovey pattern, which will be great since I have five friends who are pregnant right now!

Good timing, Holly! That's so funny! We got an octopus there years ago because it was so cute and I couldn't resist. I hope you enjoy the patterns!

I teach in Leominster, and the secretary at the school I used to work at in town is part of a running joke involving sharks. When the school was converted to an elementary school, an underwater ocean mural was painted, and the shark was painted right over her desk. So now, even though a couple of us have moved up to the middle and high school, we still pick up shark-related objects whenever we can. She’ll be retiring soon, so I need to get this stitched up quick (I just got the pattern)!
