quail

Quail right

I finished this quail last night.

Quail left

She will be part of my summer shop update in a few weeks. She is one of bird designs that does not stand on wire legs.  I put a smooth stone inside while I stuffed her so she sits up nicely.  And I love making the crest on this type of bird.

Our big news from yesterday's ultrasound…baby Glassenberg #3 is a girl.  Three girls.  I welcome any advice about raising three girls, or being in a family of three girls.

We are starting to transform our guest bedroom into a nursery. We're thinking brown and light yellow. And now we need to pick a name.

Oh, such a beautiful bird! Did you make this before or after you found out your babe is a girl? Is seems quite feminine! I have two sister – and a brother. I must say that am most thankful for my sisters now, as an adult. We talk often and find much support from each other. All the hand-me-downs are also a plus!

I have three daughters and a son. I also come have five sisters and a brother. I am not sure what sort of advice you are looking for but I can say home life is never dull.

Congratulations on another girl! I don’t have much advice, except that our neighbor has 3 girls and they are all so sweet. As a mom of 2 boys, I know I’d also be seeking advice if I was to be pregnant with another boy!

The quail is another winner. They are so popular though sadly for shooting and eating often. With three girls you’ll be busy w grandchildren; and I wish I had just one sister not to speak of a daughter!! Congratulations. And what is so much fun is that the girls will all be totally different (from my observation).
