I made a set of six rabbit collage cards this afternoon. I found some good inspiration here.
I really like the discipline of making something, a variation of one thing, every day. Here is another example. I think this IS possible, even with my two babies at home. Something I’m thinking about. Do you know of other people doing something similar?

I like the idea of this too. The only other similar project that I can think of is when polka dot mittens did her “cats in slacks” a couple of years ago.

Everyday. Now thats a commitment. A commitment thats fun, but alas, hard to keep. At least for very long.
I do adore these collages though(of course I show no bias when I say this surrounded by my three rabbits, haha). Awesome!

Love the collages. This “something every day” concept is something I’ve been kicking around for a while. I was inspired by the horse project and this: http://makearteveryday.blogspot.com/ check out her august archive where she did a scrapbook layout per day.
If you do it and want an online partner to keep you inspired I might be up for the challenge because I would need a partner to keep me inspired… Let me know–no big deal either way 🙂

OK but yours are much lovelier!

That’s a great idea esp for the mother of babies – the tiredness and noisiness gets in the way of fresh ideas I find – so to make variations on a theme would be an interesting way of getting out that creative energy.

I love this concept. I create everyday, not really on one central theme though. I also have two little ones at home and find that I “make” time for my creative expression. It helps me so much:) Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

What a nice idea and is probably great for helping keep yourself on task. Love the rabbit collages, you did a fantastic job.

Hmmm that’s really neat. I know there’s the novel writing thing going on this month. You write x number of words every day. I often get so frustrated with what I feel is a lack of focus. It’s too easy to get distracted. I love the idea I really do.

I think it’s very worthwhile doing a series. My Mum, who is a visual artist, often works this way … and often discovers the direction she wants to take at picture no.3 or 4.
I’m thinking about an advent series soon. 😉
