Fall in New England is just unbelievably beautiful. The colors are so saturated and the air is crisp. I love this time of year and I feel so fortunate to be able to enjoy it this year. Last year at this time I had debilitating morning sickness and could hardly go out at all. So this year we are doing all the great fall things. Yesterday we went to a nearby orchard/ farm stand to pick “great huge” pumpkins.
My inventory of soft toys is finally starting to really grow. I finished two more lambs and another bear before the weekend.
And yesterday and today I worked on these little girls.
I am really excited to be participating in Craftland in Providence this year. I’ll be sending some toys to be sold in the month of December and maybe we’ll even make a day trip over there and check out all the other vendors one day, too. My in-laws live in
New London which is not too far from Providence.
Next up: some mice.

as always i just love your stuff! too cute for words! those girly dolls are adorable. i love the bears! (do you use trifted sweaters for the bears?) inspired by your work i made a stuffed robot yesterday. not nearly as nice as your work. while i sewed and stuffed and sewed some more and grew frustrated i thought of you and wondered how you do it all the time. Kudos to you and thank you for the inspiration!

The dolls are so wonderful! I love the placement of the button – it looks like a cloche hat – too cute!

You are an artist. I just like the way your toys are not overdone, not over-sweet, but have their little details and textures to make them nice and complete.

All your new dolls and toys are lovely. The herd of elephants look fantastic all together like that.
It would be nice to experience autumn with a real change in seasons. Not much happens here as we have a subtropical climate. One day I’ll live somewhere where I get to watch the leaves turn orange. 🙂

I think having that huge box full of stuffing has been very inspiring!

The dolls look wonderful! We did our pumpkin picking 2 weeks ago and that was good for us because now it’s super cold here and most of the leaves have been blown off the trees because of high winds.
