As is so often the case, the first photo I took of this guy was the best. Does anyone else find that to be true? I usually take about a dozen photos of a toy and choose among them to post here and more often than not, the very first one is the best one. In fact, now that I think about it, when I make a series of toys, the first one is usually the best. It has a freshness and excitement about it that the other ones often just don’t convey. Even though I do think that practice makes perfect, in creating art or craft the first attempt can sometimes be the best one.

Love your domino background. I still haven’t really got into the whole ‘it’s digital so take a lot of shots’ mentality. Must try harder.

Yep – the first shot is always the best. I have little snap lock plastic bags full of patterns too – some of the first ones are just scary!

yep – me too I usually find that it is the first picture that is best although that doesn’t stop me flicking between two pictures arguing with myself which one is really best.
I love his tartan body – does he have a name?

I always find that the last photo I take is the best. Maybe I just work up to it? However I do agree that the first idea or sketch is always the best.
That’s a really sweet bear!
