Amy Barickman founded Indygo Junction, a sewing pattern and book publishing company, in 1990. Indygo Junction has published over 1,200 print pattern titles and 80 books.
Amy also develops products for licensed programs with leading manufacturers in both the craft and gift industry, including her Crossroads Denim fabric line with James Thompson Co. Amy’s most recent book, The Magic Pattern Book, was published by Workman in 2014.
Amy has a passion for all things vintage and has an impressive collection of textiles, handmade fabric, and needle art. This collection is the inspiration for much of Amy’s work including her book, Vintage Notions, and newest fabrics line, Vintage Made Modern, with RJR Fabrics.
